The Back Mt. Historical Association is back with "Farms & Barns", a presentation discussing some of the many farms that once thrived in the Back Mountain - a vital part of our local heritage. This event will take place on Wednesday evening, October 11th at 7:00 p.m., at the Back Mt. Regional EMS building, on SR 118 near the Luzerne County Fairgrounds.

The annual Kiwanis Halloween Party on Sunday, October 29th at 1:00 p.m., at the Back Mt. Regional Fire/EMS Hall, on the corner of Church St. and Center Hill Road. In observance of the Bicentennial there will be a special prize for the best retro costume.

Hey kids! Decorate a pumpkin and bring it to the Halloween Trunk or Treat Neighborhood on Halloween night, at the Luzerne County Fairgrounds, at 6:00 p.m. Drop your pumpkins off at the Kiwanis booth for a special judging!
